What is Battle Stars?

In WOLF Battle Stars, your Group creates a unique singing idol that you can duel other idols with across WOLF! By duelling, your idol levels up, letting you unlock different perks. Compete to be the No.1 idol in WOLF.

Creating your Idol

To create your idol (if you Group does not have an idol), type !bs create. Idols can only be created by Group owners.

Choosing an avatar & Stage

Pick which idol will represent your Group by inputting the corresponding number.

E.G. If you want to pick the Arabic Singer, press “1”.

 

Use the same method to select the Stage your idol will duel on.

 

Skill selection

Skills are special moves your idol will perform when their skill bar charges.

Instrument Selection

Increase the chance that your idol will attack first in a duel.

 

Character Summary & Confirmation

Once you have created your idol and chosen its various skills, etc. you will then see a summary. If happy, simply type Y to confirm.

 

Duelling

Duelling is easy. Simply type !bs duel. This command will match your idol with another idol of a similar level. Duelling will happen automatically until a Win, Loss, or a Draw.

After battle, your idol will gain FAME. By gaining FAME, your idol will increase in level.

After a match, you have the option to keep duelling. By continuing to duel, you can increase the amount of FAME your idol earns. This can increase the more you continually battle. However, if your idol loses during one of these battles, all the FAME your idol could have earned will go to the idol who beat you.

If you would like to collect the FAME you have earned after multiple duels: !bsfame collect

If you choose not to continue duelling, then your idol will need to cool down. This cool down period lasts 30 mins.

 

Encore

ENCORE is a Booster that bypasses an idol’s cooldown period, allowing them to instantly battle.

!bs encore will send a private message to you, via the bot, where you can purchase a Booster.

Duelling a specific Group

!battlestars duel {groupId} lets you duel a specific Group.

E.G. If you want to duel the Official WOLF Group: !bs duel 2

 

Your Idol

The more your Idol duels, the more it will grow. This comes with a number of different options.

Viewing Your Idol

You can see 3 screens with information about your idol.

Idol Status

  • XP: Your current level + how far you are to the next level

  • ATK, DEF, and DEX stats

  • Wins/Losses/Draws

Equipment

You can see your idol’s overall stats

At the bottom, you can see:

  • The idol your are currently using | their Stage | Instrument | Accessory | Skill

Perks

Displays the PERKS you have currently unlocked/selected.

Inventory

!bs inventory will display several item options

  • Stage

  • Skin

  • Skill

  • Instrument

  • Accessory

Add the name of what you would like to change to bring up the item selection screen.

E.G. To change your Stage: !bs inventory stage

Once you have chosen a new item, in this case, a Stage: !bs equip 1. That command would then equip the DJ Stage.

 

Levelling Up

After accruing enough FAME, your idol will level up. Upon levelling up.

They will also receive a PERK point.

  • PERKS give your Idol an increase certain stats when they duel.

  • Idols get 1 perk point every 5 levels.

You will be notified when your idol has a PERK point to spend.

  • !bs perk unlock {id} - To spend a perk point (Admin+)

  • !bs perk reset - To reset perks and regain spent points (Admin+)

  • You can check PERKS with !bs perk

 

The Maximum level Idols can currently achieve is Level 30.

 

Perks

If you have 1 PERK point, you can unlock ANY Level 1 PERK. To unlock further Levels (Might I > Might II), you must already have the 1st PERK.

Unlocking a PERK

!battlestars perk unlock {id} - To spend a perk point (Admin+)

Each PERK (as seen above) has a number assigned to it.

If we want to unlock the “WALL” PERK, we enter: !bs perk unlock 2

If you want to change your PERKS at any point, type: !bs perk reset (Admin+)

 

Attributes

Attribute boost the Idol's three main stats: health, defence and dexterity.

Idols get 1 attribute point per level.

  • !bs attribute allocate atk/def/dex - To spend an attribute point (Admin+)

    • E.G. To increase attack: !bs attribute allocate atk

  • !battlestars attribute reset - To reset attributes and regain spent points (Admin+)

Glossary

There are a number of terms in Battle Stars that you may not be familiar with. This section will explain what each of those terms are.

 

TERM

 

DEFINITION

 

HEALTH (HP)

Health or Hit Points, is the amount of damage your idol can withstand before being defeated.

E.G. If your Idol has 100 HP, and an opponent does 20 damage per turn, it would take 5 attacks to defeat your idol.

ATTACK (ATK)

Attack is the amount of damage that your idol can do to another idol. The higher your idol’s attack stat, the more damage they do with each attack.

DEFENCE (DEF)

Defence is how much damage your idol takes from an opponent’s attack. The higher your defence, the less damage your idol receives.

COUNTER

A “counter” can happen when an opponent attempts to attack your idol. If a counter is successful, your idol will dodge an opponent’s attack and hit them back.

DODGE

Dodge is the ability to avoid an opponent’s attack completely. Your idol will not receive any damage if/when this happens.

DODGE %

Your chance to perform a critical hit.

HEAL

How much you are healed.

HEAL %

Any buffs that contribute the amount healed.

EXTRA ATTACK

Related to the Encore ability.

SKILL CHARGE RATE

How quickly your skill bar charges.

ATTACK FIRST

The chance you have to attack first. 1 is the default.

XP GAIN % (FAME)

FAME is experience that you gain after each battle, whether you win, lose, or draw. You gain the most experience if you win a battle.

The amount of fame you get from a win is determined by a few factors:

  1. Your level and your opponent’s level

  2. If your Fame percentage has increased from consecutive duels

    1. Each time you win a battle, your Fame % will increase by 10%

E.G. If you get 100 XP per duel, and this is increased by 10% because you have continued to due, your next duel will get you 110% of 100 XP = 110 Fame.
